
The arenile of Santa Teresa opens onto one of the busiest urban shores in the city’s past, and today has become a meeting point and gathering place that connects the Lungomare, pride of the Umbertine and post-unification city, with the Crescent and Liberty Square. A project of modest impact, but of great value that has given back to the city an area that was heading toward degradation.
A axe of teack, some palm trees, and a series of ramps and stairs that go toward the strand characterize the layout of the intervention designed by Carlo Cuomo and Associates. Solarium, resting place, but also a place for small performances and play area thanks to the small amphitheater that rises on the side towards the tourist port and the Piazza della Libertà.
Anoutdoor bar allows one to enjoy, facing the sea and the Gulf of Salerno, a coffee or an aperitif in great relaxation.
