
The Seminary Park is located in the upper part of Salerno, between the Seripando and Mennola districts.It is set on a small promontory and is articulated in terraces that offer spectacular views of the port and the city. The green area hasthick and varied vegetation and is equipped with all the necessary aids for overcoming architectural barriers, making it accessible to all.
The entrance from Via Valerio Laspro is particularly impressive because it is enriched by a Meridian, the largest in Europe, created by Erika Beker and Marco Bacchilega in Ogliara terracotta and glazed ceramics.
The park is home to numerous leisure spaces including playgrounds and courts for sports activities, volleyball, soccer, tennis, and basketball, as well as a entertainment areawith a capacity of about 800 seats and a “refreshment” area with a kiosk and a pizzeria.
The nature trails, designed within the oasis, are the ideal place for competitive and amateur training.
