The name of the Sfusato Amalfitano variety, which gives rise to the Protected Geographic Indication “Limone Costa d’Amalfi”, contains two important features: the tapered form of the fruit, from which the term “ disfusato”, and the area where it has come, over time, to differentiate: the Amalfi Coast.
