2. Personality data processing
With reference to the data processed, the City of Salerno informs that the processing of personal data is aimed at performing tasks of public interest or in any case related to the exercise of public powers, of competence of the Municipality according to laws, statutes and municipal regulations. In particular, the processing may consist of the operations indicated in the second paragraph of Article 4 GDPR and therefore in the collection, registration, organization, conservation, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, erasure and destruction of data.
3. Legal basis of the processing.
The processing of particular data is carried out in accordance with laws, statutes and regulations for reasons of relevant public interest or for compliance with laws or regulations.
4. Methods of treatment
Personal data are normally processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorized access. The data can be processed exclusively by personnel in charge of the processing, according to the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, relevance and non-excession regarding the purposes of collection and subsequent processing. The personal data provided by users who register and provide references such as name, surname, residence, telephone references, e-mail address, may be used for other processing operations in terms compatible with the purposes of the collection, such as sending, by email, institutional communications and public utility. The personal data of users requesting documents or information material (e.g. newsletters, answers to questions, acts and measures, etc.) are used only to perform the service or service requested and are communicated to third parties only if it is necessary for this purpose (shipping services and the like). The data relating to the online service are not subject to communication or dissemination, unless provisions of law or regulation are otherwise available.
5. Purpose of treatment
Personal data will be processed in relation to the services offered by the Municipality of Salerno through its website, exclusively for the purposes that fall within the institutional tasks of the Administration or for the fulfillment provided by law or regulation. Within these purposes the processing also covers data relating to registrations/registrations to the website necessary for the management of relationships with the Municipality of Salerno, as well as for an effective institutional communication and to fulfil any legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.

8. Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures for the operation of the websites of the Municipality of Salerno can acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but that by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow to identify users. This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to sites, URI notation addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the requested resources, request time, method used in submitting the request to the server, file size obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (fine forum, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system. This data is processed, for the time strictly necessary, in order to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its regular operation. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site by the authorities.
9. Data communication
In relation to the procedure and related activities, the Municipality may communicate the data acquired to other competent public or private entities, in the cases provided for by law, Statute, municipal regulations.
10. Data retention
The data will be kept for a period not exceeding that provided for by the regulatory basis that legitimizes the processing and in accordance with the rules on the conservation of administrative documentation; to this end, also through periodic checks, the strict relevance, no excess and indispensable of the processed data is verified

The processing of data related to the website’s web services takes place mainly at the Municipality of Salerno and possibly with the collaboration of other subjects specially designated as processors. The processing of data takes place for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes, also through the use of automated tools observing the security measures aimed at preventing data loss, illicit or incorrect uses and unauthorized access.
The data are processed exclusively by personnel, mainly technical, authorized for processing or by persons authorized for occasional maintenance operations, according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency, relevance and non-excession regarding the purposes of collection and subsequent processing.
The personal data provided by users who register or use the services of the site of the Municipality of Salerno and provide references such as name, surname, residence, telephone references, e-mail address, can be used for other processing operations in terms compatible with the purposes of the collection such as sending, by email, institutional communications and public utility.
