FIRST SHIP Review of contemporary art curated by Valerio Falcone
Starting on October 4, 2025, on the occasion of the Giornata del Contemporaneo promoted by AMACI, the architecture and engineering firm Lamina Studio will inaugurate "Prima Nave", a contemporary art review that will develop over the course of ten months, concluding on July 31, 2026.
The project stems from the desire to create an active link between the space of’architecture and contemporary art, transforming the studio into a place for exhibition and discussion.
The review includes a cycle of five solo exhibitions dedicated to female artists, selected for the quality of their research and the variety of expressive languages.
SCHEDULE OF REVIEW – Oct. 04, 2025 – Federica D’Ambrosio – Dec. 05, 2025 – Mafalda Francesca Perri – Feb. 06, 2026 – Federica Limongelli – April 10, 2026 – Maria Grazia Tolino – June 12, 2026 – Chicca Regalino
Studio Lamina, promoter of the review, was born in Salerno in 2018 from the meeting of Mirella Dovinola (architect, Salerno 1984) and Nadia Iannicelli (engineer, Battipaglia 1988), who share a deep passion for architecture, design and the study of detail. The name LAMINA recalls the’idea of “thin”, emphasizing the inescapable link between architecture and engineering. With experience in integrated planning and interior design, Lamina combines technical skills and artistic sensibility, developing a sartorial and multidisciplinary approach over time.
