Officially presented on Saturday, January 10 at the Cineteatro Eliseo in Poggiomarino, the new Archeofestival 2026, now in its fourth edition.
In the course of the press conference the new path of the event was illustrated, which from January to July will cross the entire Campania with a dense calendar of cultural appointments.
The Archeofestival, promoted by the Archaeological Group “Terramare 3000“, with the collaboration of numerous associations, is a traveling cultural tour dedicated to the valorization of the archaeological, historical and anthropological regional heritage.
The theme of the edition 2026, “Spazi ludici, tempi sacri“, will guide a path of reflection on the relationship between rituality, feast and community, putting in dialogue the ancient world with contemporary society.
There are guided tours, narratives, poetic readings and moments of deepening, that will touch some of the most significant archaeological sites and places symbol of Campania, from Santa Maria Capua Vetere, to Succivo, from Atripalda to Mirabella Eclano, passing through Benevento, Guardia Sanframondi and many other sites rich in history and culture.
Salerno will be interested by ’Archeofestival on March 1st, when the event includes a guided tour of the Archaeological Area of Fratte.
All Archeofestival activities are free of charge, including visits to archaeological sites and museums.
